De Lichtfabriek
De Lichtfabriek (The Lightfactory) is an event center located in an old factory in Haarlem, close to Amsterdam. With costumers like Philips, RTL, SBS, ING, Sanoma, KLM and many more we achieved our goals and turned the company into an "A-brand" in events. In Juli 2018 the company was succesfully sold.
In the history of De Lichtfabriek they nowadays state: At the beginning of 2014, Mick de Vlieger took over De Lichtfabriek from the previous owners and learned a lot in a short time to master the operation. It was a new adventure for him too, he had just finished his studies, also because the light in the Light Factory had been extinguished. With his insight and vision Mick has given new life to the exploitation and from the end of 2014 he completely took over the exploitation. From that moment a new wind blew and many dance events and other new concepts took place. This went very well for a number of years until new investors appeared on the horizon. In close consultation with all parties, Mick sold his exploitation on July 1, 2018 and opted for other challenges in life. Mick has meant a lot to the Light Factory in recent years, without him the candle would have burned out for a long time.
